English dignitary, statesman, gallant; whatever his guise, 'Trelane' spells 'trouble' for the crew of the Enterprise in the original Star Trek episode The Squire of Gothos. Brilliantly portrayed by actor William Campbell, the nearly omnipotent god-child Trelane subjects Captain Kirk and company to his every whim. When Kirk fails to cooperate, Trelane's fun & games take a deadly turn!
